Lola Stallworth was born on January 27, 1918, in Many, La. She received a bachelor's degree from Grambling State University and a master's degree from Tuskegee Institute. Stallworth was a school supervisor in Greensburg, La., and a member of the Saint Helena Parish School Board. She died on July 7, 1999.
